aprs.fi v1.6.6 released
GainIO has released aprs.fi version 1.6.6 for iOS. This is the official iPhone and iPad application of aprs.fi, the APRS web site of the amateur radio world.
The aprs.io iOS app allows you to obtain immediate, real-time access to current APRS position information, weather reports, telemetry graphs, and more. Zoom and browse around the world and see stations immediately – no waiting.

What’s New in Version 1.6.6
- New Icelandic translation and some updates to the German translation
- Newly beaconed positions appear quicker on the map view
- When deleting stations from the list of recently selected stations list, in callsign search, the Delete button should not disappear too quickly when Beaconing is enabled and GPS positions are received
- The “Sign up” button at the bottom of the sign-up view stays fully visible on all devices
