SOTA Goat v1.1, featuring push notifications
I am pleased to announce the release of SOTA Goat version 1.1 for iOS devices. In addition to a number of bug fixes, this release features two big new features. The summit database can now be updated over-the-air at any time to get the latest summit information and to pick up any new associations (welcome to VK1 and W0M).
Another much-requested feature was the ability to be alerted of activations as they happen in real-time. This has been achieved through iOS Push Notifications, which will sound an alert whenever a new spot is posted. Alerts can be filtered by transmission mode and by time of day (so the VK1’s don’t wake up the K1’s at 3 AM).
